Raised in the Chicagoland suburban town of Brookfield, Illinois Chris comes to The Haute Spot as the former Director of Business Services from its sister company-Shop Melee Inc. Originating from the corporate side of beauty industry Chris’ extensive management background has prepared him to be one of the managing partners of The Haute Spot, focusing his attention on business development. Chris attended Dominican University for his associate degree and finished at Northeastern Illinois University with a degree in Spanish as a second language, linguistics and TESL. Born and raised in Chicago, Shakira has always been prepared for the fast-paced and liveliness the world of fashion has to offer. Starting her college career at Virginia State University, double majoring in Communications and Textile Apparel Merchandising Management, she later moved back to Illinois to completed her degree at Northern Illinois University. Shakira is currently attending graduate school at Northeastern Illinois University. Her love of fashion remained dear to her heart working throughout college in the quick world of retail. Carrie Nicole Harvey originates from Indianapolis, Indiana. After two years at Indiana University, she decided to transfer to Columbia College Chicago to pursue a degree in fashion business with a minor in photography.
